I love my company!

I know you guys hear me talking about the company I work for all the time. Sometimes I love it sometimes I hate it. But in all actuallity I don't hate the company...I just hate my job sometimes. This is a link to a video from the hurricane relief that APX sent me down to do. There were 90 of us that went. If you want to see what it looks like after a hurricane...take a look. It is pretty intense!

MTC Moving and Parentals

That is kinda how my week was this week. Mom and Dad brought James down this week to go to the MTC. I got Wednesday off and spent the day with them. It was kind of fun to go to the MTC again. It was funny because I got super nostalgic. The whole time I was there it reminded me of the time that I spent there. I am so grateful for the time that I spent there and also for the things that I was able to learn. After the MTC we went to move Josh and Krista. Many hands do make light work! We were able to get the majority of their stuff moved in a couple of hours. It did however remind me that I do not like moving. ugh! It was fun to spend time with mom and dad again. I have gotten to see them a few times this fall and love it! I love our family! This afternoon I was looking at www.Lloydlings.net and was going through the memories. I am so proud of my Lloyd heritage. I was reading with my roommate some of the memories and I couldn't help but think of how lucky I am to be associated with such awesome people. Thanks guys! Oh man funny story of the week! So my old roommate and I were in wal mart. We were getting stuff for our Halloween costumes. Anyway we were walking out the front doors and this old lady stops us. She asked if we could do her a favor. So I figured I would do my good turn for the day and said yes. She asked if I could give her a ride. Her family had left her to get a prescription and she didn't want to wait for them to come get her. So she asked if I could take her up to Old Navy. While we were in the car she kept saying "can you believe that they would just leave me? When they ask me how I got here I will tell them I am a witch and that I flew my broom from heck. And then I will tell them that heck is where they can go." When we dropped her off she said thanks for being good sports and gave us a mint. It was awesome! Anyway that about sums up my week. :) I hope everyone has a good week.

This week

So this last week has been pretty good. Today it has been really cold! I woke up and was freezing! Supposedly it snowed this morning...(I don't know I woke up at 12) This is the first week in a while that I haven't had to go into work on Saturday. So let's see what has been going on this week...I went to a dinner for all of the people that went to Houston for the Hurricane Ike relief. It was pretty cool. I will have to put some pictures on here... I also had an interview with my boss for a different position. He said that he didn't necessarily want me for the job that I had applied but he actually wanted to create a position for me. It is kind of exciting! I think it might be along the lines of a team lead and developer. This week we also started our weekly game of department basketball. It is actually quite fun! APX just put in a basketball court in the corporate building so now every Monday at 11 we go play :) Besides that this week has been pretty mundane. I am looking for something to spice up the week a little bit.

And so it begins

So really I promise I will be horrible at this whole blogging business...but who knows? Maybe just maybe I will keep up with it :) I just got a new computer so that should help things a little bit. It was kind of drama getting the router to work...but it's all good now. So things here in provo have been pretty predictable. I am however trying to get things in order so that I am able to get back in school and whatnot. I just this last week officially became a Utard... :( It was sad handing over my Washington license over to the Department of Licensing to punch holes in and mark it as invalid Oh well...I just saved a bunch of money on my tuition :) No all joking aside it has been a blessing to live here in Happy Valley. Well...I have a bunch of music to put on my itunes so I will leave this first post as this. Peace out :)
